Job description
Your day to day
  • As part of the IMEA HR Leadership Team, lead the design and implementation of the IMEA reward strategy and framework, leveraging insights to support company managed hotels (CMH) and corporate populations across the IMEA business unit, as well as the India-based Global Service Centre (GSC)
  • As part of the Hotel Reward Leadership Team, contribute to the broader company-wide reward agenda
  • Collaborate with management teams, HR and reward leadership on complex project leadership, Reward analysis and recommendations, and other critical Compensation and Benefits actions for both CMH and Corporate populations in the IMEA business unit and India GSC
  • Lead a small team of compensation and benefits professionals in the delivery of the IMEA and GSC reward agenda, providing innovative compensation and benefits solutions to meet client needs and support strategic business objectives
  • Conduct analysis and develop recommendations related to compensation and benefits programs, including market benchmark analysis, salary ranges, and offer recommendations
  • Lead the development and revision of the regional incentive plans
  • Manage the annual bonus and merit cycles for the IMEA business unit and India GSC for CMH and corporate populations
  • Ensure compliance through effective governance of the compensation and benefits programs
  • Conduct training related to hotel and corporate compensation programs to ensure managers and employees understand applicable Reward programs
  • Develop and manage regional benefit plans, working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all relevant reward plan documents are accurately stored on Our People Tools and kept up to date
Key Collaborative Network
  • Input into Global Reward CoE strategy and wider EMEAA reward policies
  • Work with the global teams on the annual bonus and merit cycles
  • Partner with the other HR centres of excellence to ensure reward programs are integrated and supportive of related initiatives

Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills and Knowledge
Critical Expertise and Experience:
  • Essential: Deep reward expertise, gained through experience as either a reward specialist or HR generalist
  • Essential: Leadership experience with a small team
  • Essential: Analytical mindset – actively uses data to form insights and build business cases
  • Essential: Strong written communication and presentation skills when working with senior business leaders
  • Essential: A strong relationship builder who can collaborate at all levels – brings people with them
  • Essential: Ability to create own direction and use initiative
  • Desirable: Strong knowledge of compensation principles, bonus design and benefits within the Hotel industry or a comparable sector
  • Desirable: Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
  • Desirable: Experience of working in a multinational organisation – understanding of how to get things done in an international matrix environment and comfortable working and influencing virtually
