Job summary

Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee Enforcement Forensic Technology across the software and investigation lifecycles. The role includes research, vendor selection, implementation, and ongoing fit-for-purpose reviews, ensuring compliance with DFSA policies.

You will liaise with IT and digitalisation teams, lead AI/LLM initiatives, develop training, monitor costs, and support case officers throughout investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Forensics, Computer Studies, Data Science or similar.
• Experience in financial services or consultancy environment.
• Minimum of 8 years in a technology role within financial services or a consultancy environment.
• Familiarity with the DIFC regulatory context is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in AI and data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Data collection: Primary data from authorised firms during active investigations and bringing data in-house where possible.
• Data processing and management: Develop and maintain SOPs for data selection and ingestion, indexing, filtering, deduplication and analytics.
• User training & Capability development: Develop a structured training program for Enforcement and DFSA staff.
• Monitor technology usage to manage costs and provide management reports on utilisation trends.
• Data Archiving and Closing down: Maintain secure data archiving aligned with DFSA policies.
