Job summary

The Department of Finance - Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Manager for Economic Models to lead macro and project‑level analyses, building and running econometric and forecasting models to inform policy decisions. You will introduce cutting‑edge approaches including ML/AI and monitor global economic developments.

You will prepare reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders, and provide technical economics advice to diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field.
• Experience in policy, finance, or data science is relevant.
• Experience with economic modelling and forecasting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct macro- and project-level economic analyses to guide policy decisions.
• Build and run economic/financial models for forecasting and impact measurement.
• Introduce new econometric, ML, and AI approaches to modelling.
• Prepare reports, policy briefs, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor economic developments and provide summaries to decision makers.
• Provide technical economics advice to cross-functional teams.
