Job summary

Department of Finance Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Manager - Budget Strategy and Policy in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role leads the Government Budget Sector's Centre of Excellence, benchmarks against international standards and oversees the PMO for transformational programs within the sector.

Key responsibilities include developing the enhancement action plan, driving reform options and establishing an institutional performance management system to support policy decisions at the highest level.

Responsibilities

• Lead benchmarking against leading government budgeting institutions and peers, translating findings into applicable recommendations.
• Research and disseminate leading practices in public financial management, including medium-term fiscal frameworks and performance-based budgeting.
• Oversee PMO for transformational projects, governance of budget reforms and development of action plans.
• Develop, approve and maintain sector's multi-year enhancement action plan, sequencing initiatives by impact and feasibility.
• Design and maintain the sector's performance management system, KPI architecture and reporting framework.
