The role holder is responsible for overseeing the implementation of software applications and supporting the enhancement of current applications as required by various departments within the organization. This includes activities such as programming, debugging, testing, and implementing new or existing modules. The role also involves managing the applications team in the verification process (Q&A) of the implemented applications and streamlining activities related to system maintenance, stress testing, and performance management.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and review of the Business Technology strategic plan to generate realistic financial and operational targets and ensure achievement through strategic initiatives.

System Design and Development

• Oversee the delivery of technical solutions, including custom development, applications, CRM projects, and enhancement requests.
• Utilize various programming techniques, languages, and platforms for analysis, design, customization, and development to support departmental objectives.
• Perform software development lifecycle tasks, including analysis, design, testing, customization, and integration of off-the-shelf and custom software.
• Manage the implementation of plans, assess costs and feasibility, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with business analysts and software architects to ensure requirements are well-understood and met.
• Produce detailed design and technical documentation, including data maps and business process models.
• Engage in peer code reviews and design sessions to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Provide system analysis for scope definition and evaluate third-party software for integration.
• Manage programs and projects, ensuring quality, user adoption, maintenance, and performance.
• Conduct extensive testing and ensure software quality.
• Lead a team of application specialists and provide project management mentorship.

Post-Implementation Support

• Assist users with daily activities, data reconciliation, training, and support for custom applications.

Quality and Business Improvement

• Identify reusable components and web services, propose enhancements, and update development standards.
• Stay updated on major technologies and development tools.
• Manage service agreements with vendors, including performance and SLA management.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 10 years in business analysis, system design, and software development, with at least 5 years in project management of large-scale applications, preferably in SaaS environments.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, automated testing, and test-driven development.
