Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to oversee all litigation and dispute resolution across our global operations. The role requires a seasoned legal professional with strong commercial acumen, deep litigation expertise, and experience managing multi-jurisdictional matters.

You will work with senior leadership, external counsel, and cross-functional teams to mitigate risk, advise on strategy, and lead negotiations, settlements, and pre-litigation activities, ensuring actions

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK (or equivalent international qualification).
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• In-house experience within a multinational company, preferably in telecoms, tech, or regulated industries.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation and regulatory disputes.

Responsibilities

The Senior Litigation Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution across our global operations. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with strong commercial acumen, deep litigation expertise, and experience managing multi-jurisdictional legal matters. You will work closely with senior leadership, external counsel, and cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and protect the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all litigation and dispute resolution matters across jurisdictions, including civil, commercial, regulatory, and employment-related cases.
• Act as the key point of contact for external legal counsel, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and strategic handling of litigation.
• Advise the executive team and board members on litigation strategy, legal risk, and case developments.
• Oversee pre-litigation dispute resolution, negotiations, settlements, and mediation processes.
• Work closely with internal legal, compliance, HR, and finance teams to gather documentation and prepare for legal proceedings.
• Monitor and assess potential legal risks and exposure arising from operations, contracts, or regulatory issues.
• Maintain internal litigation tracking systems, reporting key developments to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure that litigation strategies align with the overall business and regulatory objectives of the group.
• Develop and implement internal policies and training to reduce litigation risk.
