Job summary

A prominent trading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to conduct a variety of legal affairs duties that support business objectives. The role involves providing legal advice on commercial matters and advising on contract claims. Ideal candidates should possess a Law degree and have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience, including 5 years in an Oil & Gas organization and supervisory experience. Proficiency in English and skills in leadership and communication are necessary for success in this position.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Plans, conducts and carries out a variety of legal affairs duties to support the COMPANY's business plan and objectives including providing legal advice to corporate affairs such as commercial and planning. Participates in discussions on important government or commercial matters, advises the Contracts Department on contract claims, and handles cases filed against the Company.

Required Skills
  • Law degree from a recognised university.
  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years experience, of which 5 years must be in an Oil & Gas organization and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Fully qualified legal professional authorised to practise law in recognised jurisdiction; good knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • PC literate with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
