Job description
The Role

At Guildhall we are supporting one of Dubai's fastest growing real estate developers who are looking for a highly accomplished Senior Lawyer with 15–20 years of professional experience in real estate law, litigation, and FIDIC contracts. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Arabic-speaking lawyer with deep knowledge of the UAE and GCC legal landscape, capable of representing Citi Developers in courts and arbitration, drafting and reviewing complex contracts, and acting as a trusted advisor to our leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Citi Developers in courts, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate FIDIC contracts, real estate purchase agreements, lease agreements, and construction contracts.
  • Prepare and review MOUs, contracts, and legal agreements with partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Handle all Dubai Land Department (DLD) related matters.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on property acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects.
  • Manage and oversee all litigation cases and regulatory matters, liaising with external counsel as required.
  • Ensure all real estate operations comply with UAE laws, court requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation, dispute strategies, and compliance issues.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for major real estate and investment transactions.
  • Establish and update internal legal processes and policies to support business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university; Master’s in Law is an advantage.
  • Must be a qualified and licensed Lawyer with the right to practice law.
  • 15–20 years of experience in real estate law, litigation, and contract management.
  • Proven expertise in FIDIC contract drafting and review.
  • Strong background in drafting MOUs, agreements, and DLD-related matters.
  • Extensive knowledge of court systems, litigation procedures, and arbitration practices.
  • Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-value disputes and complex negotiations.
  • Prior experience working with real estate developers or major construction companies is highly preferred
