Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Land Surveyor for bridges and infrastructure projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in land surveying and at least 8 years of experience, particularly in the UAE consultancy sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in bridges and infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with consultancy firms in UAE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of survey equipment including total station, GPS, and data collectors.
• Familiarity with CAD and survey software tools.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in site-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings and documents related to survey activities.
• Perform land surveys and geodetic calculations for bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Supervise survey-related works and coordinate with contractors and project teams.
• Verify project requirements and ensure accuracy of field measurements.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection and compliance.
• Prepare field sketches and maintain detailed records including calculations and survey logs.
• Measure completed works and support project progress tracking.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings for completed works.
• Follow site safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives.
• Coordinate survey tasks to meet project timelines and cost requirements.
