Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai seeks a Senior iOS Engineer with deep Swift expertise to build enterprise mobile applications at scale. You will design maintainable APIs, optimize performance, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality iOS experiences.

The role requires strong knowledge of UIKit, MVVM/MVC, CoreLocation, MapKit, AVFoundation and modern iOS tooling, with a track record of delivering robust mobile solutions and mentoring peers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Swift in Enterprise Mobile Applications of high performance and global at scale.
• Hands on experience in performance tuning, debugging and monitoring.
• Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs.
• Mobile app development at the UI and system levels.
• Knowledge of popular third-party libraries for networking and async image loading.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture (MVC/MVVM) and Cocoa/Frameworks.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and reusable UI components.
• Knowledge of UIKit, Core Animation, Auto Layout/Size Classes, SnapKit.
• Familiar with Core Location, MapKit, AVFoundation, StoreKit, Extensions, AddressBook/EventKit, CallKit, SiriKit, Core Bluetooth.
• Ability to influence multiple teams and own tasks with minimal supervision.
