Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Investigator - Supply Chain Security & Protective Intelligence to strengthen investigative and protective security capabilities. You will identify, assess, and investigate threats to the integrity and resilience of the supply chain, working with procurement, legal, cyber security, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate investigations, protective security, or related fields.
• Experience managing investigations end-to-end from lead to reporting.
• Experience conducting protective security, risk, or vulnerability assessments.
• Strong research skills using open-source intelligence and relationship mapping.
• Experience preparing investigative reports and executive-level presentations.
• Strong analytical, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations involving suppliers, subcontractors, and third parties for fraud, corruption, sanctions, counterfeiting, and other misconduct.
• Investigate counterfeit, tampered, or non-conforming materials entering the supply chain.
• Assess ownership structures and affiliations to identify undisclosed risks and conflicts of interest.
• Perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk suppliers and business partners.
• Identify indicators of concealed ownership, procurement manipulation, and front companies.
• Conduct supply chain risk assessments covering origin, routes, and regulations.
• Analyze procurement, logistics, financial, and operational data to identify anomalies.
• Maintain investigative records, evidence trails, and case documentation.
• Assess protective security and counter-intelligence risks for suppliers and personnel.
• Investigate insider threats, information leakage, and security compromises.
• Identify indicators of hostile intelligence activity and espionage.
• Support protective security investigations of unusual information requests or access issues.
• Develop intelligence assessments on foreign interference and economic espionage affecting the supply chain.
• Recommend risk mitigation measures and protective security programs.
