Masdar is seeking an Assistant Manager - Internal Audit Assurance in Abu Dhabi to lead and supervise audits across Strategy, Business Development, and M&A. The role emphasizes development of risk assessments, KPI tracking, and ensuring quality across deliverables.

The candidate will coach staff, manage client relationships, and ensure timely, compliant audit outputs. The position is based in Abu Dhabi within the Internal Audit division, reporting to the Group Executive Director, Internal Audit.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in auditing/advisory of M&A, business development, financial modelling or equivalent.
• Experience with internal audit of corporate and business units' processes.
• Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical audits covering Strategy, Business Development and M&A from planning to reporting.
• Supervise audit team to ensure quality and timely delivery of outputs.
• Submit audit deliverables for quality review and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support annual risk assessment and KPI development for the unit.
• Review RCMs and audit findings, ensuring accurate/ complete documentation.
