Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer for the ROO Feed Design project. The successful candidate will lead I&C engineering design activities, ensuring quality and compliance. Responsibilities include developing engineering documents, coordinating with various disciplines, mentoring junior engineers, and managing budgets. Applicants should hold a degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering and have 10-13 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Knowledge of DCS, SIS, PLC, and SCADA systems is essential.

Qualifications

• 10 to 13 years of I&C engineering experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• 5 years in a Senior I&C Engineer position.
• Proven experience in FEED projects and EPCM contracts.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards for I&C engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C engineering design for the ROO project.
• Develop and maintain I&C engineering documents.
• Perform and review system calculations and design.
• Specify and procure instrumentation control systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior I&C engineers and designers.
• Manage the I&C engineering budget and schedule.
