Job summary

Dautom is hiring an Information Security Consultant in Sharjah. The role requires senior-level expertise to lead governance, risk, and compliance across security programs and vendors.

You will mentor teams, shape strategy, and ensure secure project delivery in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Based in Sharjah, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, oversee risk mitigation, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or other related fields.
• Minimum 12 years of experience for bachelor’s degree holders or 15+ years for master’s/doctoral degree holders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information security governance, risk, compliance, and assurance activities.
• Lead security risk assessments, control reviews, and compliance activities.
• Supervise third-party/vendor security assessments and risk management.
• Monitor compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and security service providers.
• Mentor information security team and ensure delivery of activities.
• Develop and execute information security strategy and roadmap.
• Establish and maintain security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and controls.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan and coordinate response.
• Oversee implementation and management of security controls and technologies.
• Conduct security audits, assessments, and penetration testing.
• Review security exceptions and remediation plans.
• Provide security guidance to management and stakeholders.
