POWERTECH in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior engineer to lead the technical development and industrialization of supplier components for turbofan, microjet, and piston engine programs. You will own end-to-end supplier readiness, including APQP, process validation and ramp readiness, and drive producibility during design reviews.

The role requires 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong GD&T skills, and knowledge of alloys and aerospace processes. Travel to supplier sites will be needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, industrialization or supplier development (6+ years).
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of titanium, nickel superalloys, stainless steel and aluminium.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical development and industrialization of suppliers for POWERTECH turbofan, microjet and piston engine programs.
• Own end-to-end supplier technical readiness including APQP, process validation and ramp readiness.
• Perform capability assessments for machined, fabricated, welded and cast components; evaluate methods, tooling and metrology.
• Produce qualification reports, risk assessments and supplier development requirements.
• Drive APQP, PFMEA, control plans, routings and work instructions; support FAI and PPAP readiness.
• Lead 8D root-cause analysis for dimensional variation and process instability.
• Provide producibility input during design reviews and engineering changes.
• Mentor Engineer I/II and act as technical authority for assigned commodities.
