Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for industrial machinery, ensuring safety and project timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 13 years hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and ECAD tools, with Gulf/ADNOC exposure preferred. AED UAE-based position with on-site work in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
Minimum 13 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar ECAD software.
Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed calculations for power distribution, motor control, and lighting systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software.
Use AutoCAD Electrical or similar ECAD software for schematic generation.
Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in existing installations, minimizing downtime and production impact.
