Agile Consultants in Dubai is seeking a qualified Instrumentation & Control Engineer to support engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of water and wastewater pumping station projects.

The role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure instrumentation and control works meet contract requirements and project schedules.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control engineering.
• Experience in water, wastewater, pumping stations or industrial EPC projects preferred.
• Practical experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial automation systems.
• Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
• Familiarity with IEC/ISA standards and project quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Review contract specs, drawings, BOQs and employer requirements for instrumentation and control.
• Prepare/ review submittals, ITPs, risk assessments and commissioning procedures.
• Create/ review P&IDs, instrument lists, I/O lists, cable schedules and control system architecture.
• Coordinate engineering activities with electrical, mechanical, civil and process teams.
• Review vendor drawings for PLC, SCADA, HMI, field instrumentation and panels.
• Coordinate with automation suppliers for PLC/SCADA/HMI/telemetry and third-party systems.
• Support procurement by reviewing offers and vendor evaluations.
• Supervise installation of field instruments, control panels, cable trays and instrumentation cables.
• Monitor subcontractor performance per drawings, specs, quality and HSE.
• Coordinate inspections with clients/ authorities and close comments.
• Perform loop checks, FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing.
• Coordinate plant start-up activities and provide technical support during commissioning.
• Prepare punch lists, monitor snag rectification and close outstanding works.
• Prepare as-built drawings and operation/maintenance documentation.
• Participate in progress meetings and update on engineering, procurement and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with company quality management systems and project procedures.
