Job summary

GENESIS Executive Search is seeking a Dubai-based HVAC service operations leader to oversee daily operations, scheduling, and service delivery. You will mentor technicians, manage budget, ensure safety, and build client relationships to drive profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in HVAC with management experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. This position is based on-site in Dubai and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, repair and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department.
• Schedule service work including maintenance, repairs, and emergency calls.
• Monitor service requests and prioritize tasks for timely service.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and safety regulations.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of HVAC technicians.
• Conduct performance reviews and set goals with the team.
• Handle escalated customer service issues and provide resolutions.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through service excellence and timely communication.
• Develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders to retain business and enhance opportunities.
• Manage the service department's budget including tracking expenses, labor costs, and equipment maintenance.
• Maximize profitability by reducing downtime and optimizing resources.
• Assist in creating pricing strategies for service contracts, repairs, and installations.
• Ensure all service work meets quality standards and complies with regulations.
• Audit work to ensure quality and safety; manage inventory of parts and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and price optimization.
• Ensure tools and vehicles are maintained and serviced regularly.
