Job summary

EDGE is seeking an experienced GNC Engineer to design and implement advanced guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous systems. You will work across hardware and software teams to deliver precise, stable flight performance in demanding environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
8+ years of GNC design experience in aerospace, defense, UAVs, or autonomous systems.
Strong understanding of control systems, flight dynamics, and embedded software.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, or Python.
Experience with sensor fusion, simulation, and real-time systems.

Responsibilities

Guidance: Develop real-time guidance algorithms for trajectory generation, path planning, and mission execution.
Navigation: Design multi-sensor navigation solutions using GNSS, INS, visual odometry, LIDAR, radar, and altimeters; implement sensor fusion and filtering (Kalman Filters).
Control: Design and optimize control laws for linear and nonlinear systems; support actuator modeling and real-time deployment.
System Integration & Testing: Develop GNC simulation environments; support SIL/HIL and flight testing; lead GNC subsystem integration across hardware and software.
