Confidential Careers (International Telecommunications) in Dubai seeks an experienced Legal Counsel – Regulatory & Compliance to support its global operations from the Dubai office. The role focuses on telecommunications regulation, licensing, and international compliance frameworks.

The successful candidate will have 7–15+ years of legal experience, a qualified lawyer status, and proven telecom sector expertise in MNO/MVNO or telecom-focused law firms.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in a recognised jurisdiction.
• 7–15+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven telecom industry experience (MNO/MVNO or telecom-focused law firms).

Responsibilities

• Manage MNO/MVNO licensing requirements, renewals and amendments.
• Provide regulatory advice on new market entries and international expansion.
• Oversee compliance programs including anti-bribery, AML/KYC, sanctions and competition law.
• Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory authorities regarding investigations.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with technology providers and telecom operators.
• Ensure your profile is updated with relevant telecom/regulatory experience.
