DSV – Global transport and logistics in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Project Manager for Global Projects & Industry Solutions, Air & Sea. You will lead door-to-door project logistics from planning through delivery, coordinating multimodal transport and heavy lift operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead door-to-door project logistics operations from planning through final delivery.
• Develop and manage detailed project execution plans, transportation schedules, milestones and risk registers.
• Coordinate multimodal transportation involving international freight, road, sea, barge, rail, heavy haul and lifting operations.
• Manage movement of oversized, out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk and project cargo.
• Ensure all project deliveries are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Review transportation studies, lifting plans, route surveys and method statements.
• Coordinate with transport engineers, heavy lift contractors, shipping lines and port operators.
• Assess technical feasibility for transportation and lifting operations.
• Evaluate transport routes, bridge capacities, road restrictions and permitting requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, cost controls and profitability.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with carriers, transporters and project vendors.
• Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
