Job summary

AI Acquisition is hiring a Senior Technical Developer (Contract) to own the technical and systems layer of an enterprise project controls platform. You will replace the spreadsheet-and-email toolchain with a production-live system used on major capital construction programs, driving data accuracy and reliability.

You will work directly with the founder in an environment free of ticket theater and management layers, focusing on real ML/AI infrastructure, including fine-tuned LLMs and voice

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production experience with strict TypeScript/JavaScript (generics, type inference, discriminated unions).
• Production React experience with ownership over live web applications.
• Next.js App Router literacy with server vs. client components, middleware, and route handlers.
• SQL Fluency with raw PostgreSQL; no ORM dependency.
• Python proficiency tied to data preparation, training, and evaluation for ML pipelines.
• Strict Git workflow discipline with clean commits and code reviews.
• Familiarity with ML infra frameworks (projects, fine-tuning experiments, or coursework).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary implementation partner in a production codebase.
• Own building, engineering, and feature deployment of full-stack system features.
• Design, implement, and submit clean PRs for review.
• Build and maintain ML pipelines including training data prep, fine-tuning scripts, and evaluations.
• Write complex PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data migrations.
• Develop, scale, and optimize high-throughput model inference and voice pipelines.
• Decompose feature briefs, propose architectures, and resolve backend production bugs.
