micro1 is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a remote, contractor role with flexible hours. You will work across front-end and back-end, review code, debug systems, and evaluate architectures to deliver reliable technical solutions.

You will develop features, APIs, and data models, analyze existing codebases, and ensure security, performance, and maintainability. Strong collaboration and clear documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Production-grade full-stack experience.
• Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go, Rust, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and service integrations.
• Ability to work with unfamiliar codebases and architectures.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of security, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end components.
• Build user-facing features and APIs, services, and data models.
• Analyze architecture and understand existing codebases.
• Trace requests and data flow across browsers, applications, APIs, databases, and external services.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to authentication, state, persistence, networking, and deployments.
• Review and improve code written in multiple programming languages.
• Evaluate software solutions for correctness, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Assess technical implementations and identify optimization opportunities.
