Job summary

Sandan AI, a Berlin-based AI-native startup, seeks a senior full-stack engineer with strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills to build agentic AI-powered marketing workflows. You will work across front-end, back-end, ML model integration, and data pipelines, collaborating with the founding team on core architecture in a hybrid Berlin/remote setting.

Ideal candidates combine production-grade software delivery with a genuine interest in generative AI, and are comfortable operating across the DACH

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Confident working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL).
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and Git workflows.
• Excellent German (C2) and English (C1) skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications in the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
• Design and implement scalable backend services.
• Build high-performance frontend solutions.
• Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL).
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Build and operate data pipelines, feature stores, and ML workflows.
• Develop, train and evaluate ML models for marketing use cases.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Set up LLM evaluation frameworks and prompt optimization workflows.
• Collaborate with the founding team on product architecture of agentic systems.
