Job summary

Allocation Assist in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in Foot & Ankle Surgery to join our Abu Dhabi Orthopedics Department. You will oversee complex cases, collaborate with radiology and rehab teams, and guide residents through innovative surgical care.

The ideal candidate has fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery, board certification, and a DoH license or eligibility, with a track record in trauma, reconstruction and sports-related injuries.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
• Completed recognized postgraduate training in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Recognized Board Certification/Specialist or Consultant qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship or advanced formal training in Foot & Ankle Surgery is highly desirable.
• Valid Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi Consultant license/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment and management of patients with foot and ankle conditions.
• Diagnose and treat foot and ankle trauma, sports-related injuries, arthritis, deformities and complex conditions.
• Perform procedures including foot/ankle reconstruction and arthroscopy with appropriate expertise.
• Provide preoperative evaluation and individualized surgical plans.
• Coordinate postoperative care and rehabilitation with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Teach and supervise residents and junior physicians; participate in research and audits.
