Job summary

General Civil Aviation Authority in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior IC for the Flight Recorders Laboratory to lead data recovery, CVR processing, and complex accident investigations. The role requires a university degree and at least five years in aviation investigation environments, with leadership experience in a lab setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent aviation technical qualification.
• 5 years experience in a relevant environment or equivalent.
• Senior IC experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the Flight Recorders Laboratory operations per AAIS policies.
• Lead the Flight Recorders Investigation Group in major/complex investigations.
• Provide data download and analysis for drones occurrences and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and stakeholders for site investigation data analysis.
• Prepare research and studies in flight recorders laboratory for investigations.
