Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to manage the HQ asset registers, prepare depreciation documentation, and produce schedules and reports to ensure timely and accurate accounting of fixed assets.

You will reconcile HQ asset records with group company registers, support annual financial statements and audits, document policy-compliant processes, and drive continuous improvements in asset accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Good knowledge of English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to standardized guidelines and frameworks for fixed asset accounting.
• Maintain fixed assets registers relating to ADNOC HQ and manage additions, disposals and transfers.
• Document depreciations monthly and post to the General Ledger.
• Review system interface reports for consistency with group companies.
• Reconcile ADNOC HQ fixed asset registers with Group Company registers.
• Prepare annual schedules for fixed assets to support financial statements.
• Prepare physical inventory procedures and participate in fixed asset inventory reconciliation.
• Identify improvements in internal processes to increase efficiency.
• Prepare progress reports for Company Management.
