Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) was established in 1996 to promote commercial and tourism activities in Sharjah. SCTDA works to develop the emirate's commercial and tourism sectors through various events and activities at local, regional, and international levels, promoting Sharjah as a cultural, heritage, and family tourist destination.

Role Description

This is a full time on site role for a Senior Executive Officer at SCTDA in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Executive Officer will be responsible for planning, strategizing, managing policies, and supervising tourismrelated programs to promote commerce and tourism development in coordination with relevant authorities and departments.

Qualifications

  • Experience in international exhibitions planning , policy management, and program supervision, market .
  • Extensive experience in external promotion and managing international offices in key markets including Russia, China, and India
  • Successfully developed and maintained strong business relationships with international partners and distributors.
  • Achieved significant increases in brand awareness and sales growth across multiple regions.
  • Skilled in handling and closing strategic business deals, coordinating between headquarters and local offices to ensure aligned goals and smooth operations.
  • Strong leadership and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of tourism industry trends and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
