Our client is seeking a Senior Executive Business Development & Sales (Pharmaceutical Packaging) to drive sales growth, manage key accounts and deliver innovative packaging solutions to pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare providers. This role involves executing sales strategies fostering client relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards while contributing to the company's long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets in the pharmaceutical packaging sector (blister packs, bottles, vials, closures, flexible packaging).
  • Manage existing client accounts, identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored packaging solutions aligned with regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO) and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, production, regulatory) to ensure accurate pricing, timely quotations and feasibility of customized packaging solutions.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, process orders via ERP systems and ensure seamless communication between clients and internal departments.
  • Conduct after‑sales follow‑ups, resolve client concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports and budget inputs to support business planning.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability initiatives and emerging packaging technologies through workshops and conferences.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to generate leads and promote solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceuticals or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in sales/business development within pharmaceutical packaging or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging regulations (GMP, ISO), materials and industry standards.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and client‑relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical aptitude to consult on packaging materials, barrier properties and compliance.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
