Job summary

e& UAE is recruiting an Expert Engineer (Enterprise Security Architecture) to lead design, planning, and governance of security across the group’s telecom, ISP, technology, and digital services portfolio. The role demands hands-on security leadership spanning design, planning, integration, and strategy across a broad technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience in telecom or large-scale tech environments.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise security architecture, network/infrastructure security, cloud security, telecom security, ISP and security compliance.
• Strong command of security frameworks and standards.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and their security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and architecture of secure enterprise solutions across ISP, Telecom, IP Core, 5G Core, Wi-Fi Core, and core connectivity layers.
• Develop, plan, design, and implement end-to-end security controls for infrastructure services aligned with governance standards.
• Ensure security-by-design across all projects including Enterprise Architecture, Technology, Strategy, and Government Integration initiatives.
• Perform threat modelling to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across domains and lifecycles.
• Evaluate proposals, identify gaps in design and process, and recommend optimal, risk-balanced security solutions.
• Document remediation plans from security gaps across projects, applications, and vendors.
