Job summary

Lindenberg Emirates LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Engineer - SCMS to lead automation design and substation control work for EPC projects. You will develop drawings, signal lists, control schematics, and BOQs; manage technical submittals; coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors and contractors; and support site supervision, FAT and commissioning to ensure safe project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years in automation/SCADA/substation control, a degree in electrical engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years’ experience in automation, control, SCADA, or substation control systems within EPC projects.
• Additional training in SCADA, PLC systems, or substation automation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare automation, control, SCADA, and substation control system documentation per client specs.
• Develop drawings, signal lists, calculations and BOQs; coordinate submittals and approvals with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Support site supervision, FAT and commissioning to ensure safe, successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Additional training in SCADA, PLC systems, or substation automation is an advantage.
• 5–10 years’ experience in automation, control, SCADA, or substation control systems within EPC projects.

Knowledge/ Skills

• Strong knowledge of SCADA, RTU, PLC, substation control systems, and automation engineering practices.
• Skilled in preparing signal lists, control schematics, design calculations, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Experience in reviewing vendor and subcontractor documents for compliance with client specifications.
• Familiarity with IEC standards, utility requirements, and EPC project execution processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and document control platforms (Aconex/EDMS).
• Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

Excellent communication skills in English. Communication skills in Arabic and other languages will be considered an added advantage

Key Responsibilities
