Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for major urban development projects
• Conduct detailed site analyses and feasibility studies for proposed infrastructure initiatives
• Create and review technical drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software
• Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data and inform planning decisions
• Perform complex data analysis and modeling to optimize infrastructure designs
• Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including architects, environmental specialists and government officials
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Manage and mentor junior engineers in the planning and design process
• Present infrastructure plans and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure planning or a related field
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale infrastructure projects
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Strong skills in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data analysis
• In‑depth knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design principles
• Familiarity with urban development trends and best practices
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong project management abilities including budgeting and resource allocation
• Effective communication and presentation skills in English
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced dynamic environment
