Job summary

Dubai is seeking a Senior Technician – Elevator & Escalator Maintenance to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on elevators and escalators across UAE facilities.

Responsibilities include leading junior technicians, ensuring safety/compliance, and reporting to clients and supervisors. A tech diploma/ITI and 5–8 years of hands-on experience with major brands are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 5–8 years hands-on elevator/escalator maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of major brands (KONE, OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp, Mitsubishi).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot control circuits; experience with VFDs/PLCs.
• HSE training, rescue operation certification, and knowledge of UAE regulations.
• Physically fit to work at heights, in shafts, and in demanding environments.
• Strong communication, reporting, and client-interaction skills.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance for elevators/escalators to ensure safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults using manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace components main motors, controllers, doors, brakes and safety gear.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and site HSE requirements.
• Assist modernization of outdated systems, including controllers and drives.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and on-site emergencies; manage on-site documentation.
• Lead junior technicians, provide on-site training, and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Coordinate findings and progress with clients and supervisors.
• Handle tools, testing devices, and PPE safely on site.
