Job summary

Star Services LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Project Engineer Capital Projects (CAPEX) to lead and support CAPEX project execution, ensuring delivery against KPIs, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

You will coordinate with operations and EPC/EPCM contractors, review drawings, and hand over complete project documentation. A bachelor's in engineering and 5+ years' CAPEX experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution (CAPEX environment preferred).
• Strong project management planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets.
• Identify and escalate actions; Support corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Operations to develop and evaluate technical and operational solutions.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects from initiation to handover.
• Review fabrication/shop drawings and material submittals from contractors.
• Participate in design review meetings with EPC/EPCM contractors and consultants contributing to design optimization and value engineering.
• Ensure readiness of project documentation (drawings O&M manuals) prior to completion and handover.
• Support construction activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
