Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the installation of transformers, switchgear, busways, cabling trays, conduits, wiring, and DBs per approved drawings on UAE projects, including high-rise, luxury residential, or commercial sites.

The role includes managing DEWA/SEWA submissions, inspections, energization clearances, and supervising megger insulation and relay testing while enforcing stringent LO/TO safety during live phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (attested with MOFA).
• 9+ years of UAE experience; DEWA/SEWA approved engineer preferred.
• 9–13 years in UAE MEP contracting managing electrical packages on high-rise, luxury residential, or commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation oversight of transformers, switchgear, busways, cabling, trays, conduits, wiring and DBs per approved drawings.
• Coordinate DEWA/SEWA submissions, inspections and power energization clearances.
• Oversee megger insulation tests, continuity tests, earth resistance testing and secondary injection testing for protection relays.
• Enforce strict Lockout Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols during testing and live energization phases.
