Job summary

KBR-Abu Dhabi is seeking a Program Delivery Assistant Engineer – Electrical Transmission for the TRANSCO-NEXUS project in Abu Dhabi. You will support four Program Delivery Managers, focusing on construction, commissioning and handover of substations, gid-stations, STATCOM and OHL, ensuring safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in power transmission construction.
• PMC / supervision consultant or EPC on similar complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day on-site activities and coordinate with Site Supervision Consultants.
• Lead planning, execution and delivery of the TRANSCO-NEXUS Project within objectives, timelines and budget.
• Oversee the power transmission package and EPC-related operations.
• Foster collaboration among stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors and regulators.
• Develop and implement project management plans, schedules and resource allocation.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to maintain project health.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management with risks and mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations across the project life cycle.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and oversee commissioning and energization planning.
