Job summary

Arabian Construction Co. is seeking a Quality Inspector - E&I to perform inspections and QC activities for Electrical and Instrumentation works on Civil and Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.

You will verify workmanship, monitor inspections and testing, and support non-conformance closures to ensure compliant and high-quality delivery. The role requires documenting daily inspections, coordinating with site teams, and maintaining quality records for audits and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Instrumentation engineering required.
• 10–15 years of E&I quality inspection experience on civil and/or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation and testing practices.
• Familiar with ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs and quality documentation.
• Ability to read E&I drawings, layouts, cable schedules, and loop diagrams.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review approved E&I drawings, specs, method statements, and ITPs to understand inspection and testing requirements.
• Plan and coordinate daily E&I inspection activities with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Verify work readiness prior to inspection to ensure compliance and avoid rework.
• Inspect electrical installation works and witness electrical testing activities.
• Inspect instrumentation installation and witness instrumentation testing.
• Prepare and follow up WIR/MIR and participate in joint inspections with Clients/Consultants/Third-Party Inspectors.
• Maintain quality records and non-conformance closure through NCRs and corrective actions.
