Job summary

Star Services LLC seeks a SMP1 Shift Sr. E&A Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and automation equipment at client facilities in Abu Dhabi.

The role requires experience with generators, motors, switchgear, and PLC systems, and involves shift work. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 5+ years in a similar role (oil & gas preferred), and a technical diploma or electrical/automation certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably oil and gas.
• Technical diploma or certification in electrical or automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and automation equipment and systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain electrical and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with teams to complete tasks.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Stay updated with industry developments.
