Job summary

Aventus, a specialised legal recruitment firm, is seeking a Disputes Associate / Senior Associate (5+PQE) for a leading international offshore law firm’s Dubai office. The role focuses on high-value commercial and offshore disputes.

The successful candidate will manage complex litigation, handle cross-border matters, and work with a global offshore network. Dubai-based, on-site role with a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Qualified in England & Wales (required for Cayman & BVI admission).
• Strong commercial litigation experience, preferably from a Legal-500-ranked or comparable international firm.
• Experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes; offshore litigation advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation and cross-border disputes.
• Handle shareholder and corporate litigation matters.
• Work on restructuring, insolvency, and contentious financial issues.
• Conduct offshore litigation, enforcement and asset-recovery actions.
• Collaborate with international counsel and the firm’s global offshore network.
