Senior Discipline Engineer - Architectural

We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy (Oil & Gas – Power and Water), Marine, Infrastructure and Defense & Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.

Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.

Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.

Role Summary:

Prepare detailed architectural designs, reports, specifications, and drawings in accordance with project requirements and international standards.

Develop architectural layouts, space planning, finishes, and building envelope designs suitable for Oil & Gas and industrial facilities.

Perform design checks and validations to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance of architectural deliverables.

Support the Lead Engineer in technical reviews, design coordination, and interface management with clients and other engineering disciplines.

Ensure architectural designs comply with Oil & Gas project requirements, HSE standards, and relevant international and local building codes.

Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, process, and construction teams to ensure integrated and clash-free design solutions.

Review vendor and subcontractor architectural drawings, materials, and technical submissions for compliance with project specifications.

Provide technical support during construction, site execution, testing, and commissioning phases, resolving architectural-related issues as required.

Utilize relevant architectural and design software for the preparation, review, and coordination of drawings and documents.

Ensure timely completion and submission of architectural engineering deliverables in line with project schedules and quality requirements.

What you will need to have:

  • BE or equivalent in Civil
  • Proven experience in your respective engineering discipline - Minimum 12years of relevant experience related to Oil & Gas Projects and detailed engineering experience in the field of expertise
  • Technical competence in basic & detailed engineering with strong technical background, and advanced analytical skills in basic and detailed engineering design from project feasibility stage to plant commissioning and startup
  • Previous exposure to international environment
  • Experience using relevant commercial software applicable to Oil & Gas projects
  • In depth knowledge of international codes & standards, international design guidelines & recommendations
  • Experience in Environmental regulatory requirements (local, international), review and understanding of local Environmental Laws would be a definite advantage
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • ADNOC Experience is highly preferred.
