Job summary

Efforts Solutions IT is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer—Azure Platform & IaC to manage, secure, automate, and optimise an enterprise-grade Azure Data & AI platform. You will review partner solutions, extend them with secure, observable, agentic capabilities on Azure, and build new agents and workflows.

The role emphasizes ensuring design compliance, agent quality, and integration with enterprise systems, with a focus on cost, performance, and security in production environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software or ML engineering, incl. 2+ years shipping LLM/agentic apps to production.
• Strong Python and API design; able to read and fix others' code quickly.
• Hands-on Azure AI stack: Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search, Document Intelligence.
• Experience with agent frameworks: Microsoft Agent Framework / Semantic Kernel; LangChain / LangGraph; tool calling.
• Azure integration services: Functions, Logic Apps, App Service, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, managed identity.
• Proven experience reviewing third-party architectures and code with structured findings.
• Track record remediating and redeploying production AI agents.
• Experience building reusable agent templates or shared components.
• LLM evaluation harnesses, observability and AI security practices.

Responsibilities

• Review partner deliverables end to end: requirements, architecture, code, prompts and deployed resources.
• Check that deployed solutions match approved design across environments.
• Assess agent quality: reasoning vs scripted logic, tool design, guardrails, human-in-the-loop and error handling.
• Refactor and enhance existing agents for quality, cost and performance.
• Design and build new agents and multi-agent workflows on Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Build retrieval and document-processing solutions with Azure AI Search and Document Intelligence.
• Integrate agents with enterprise systems via Microsoft Graph, Teams, Logic Apps, Functions and APIs.
• Set up evaluation, tracing and guardrails, including prompt-injection defence and data-privacy controls.
