Role Context

The Senior Development Manager will guide complex healthcare real estate projects that require close alignment between commercial objectives, clinical requirements, engineering standards, regulatory approvals, and long-term operational needs. The position connects internal departments with architects, contractors, consultants, government authorities, medical specialists, technology providers, and equipment manufacturers. Strong execution in this role will help ensure that healthcare assets are financially viable, technically suitable, compliant, and ready to support high-quality clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for healthcare real estate projects in line with the organization's wider healthcare and property development objectives.
• Translate development goals into practical project scopes, milestone schedules, resource plans, and delivery priorities.
• Coordinate with finance, design, construction, project management, procurement, legal, and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build productive relationships with consultants, contractors, government departments, healthcare stakeholders, and specialist service providers.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reviews, financial analysis, and expenditure tracking.
• Assess project feasibility and support decision‑making through commercial, operational, and technical evaluation.
• Monitor timelines, dependencies, approvals, and resource requirements to maintain progress against agreed targets.
• Provide senior leadership with clear updates on delivery status, financial performance, risks, opportunities, and required decisions.
• Prepare structured reports and presentations for executives, project partners, and other stakeholders.

Ideal Profile

The role requires a degree in Construction, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or another closely related discipline. Candidates should have more than 10 years of relevant experience within the healthcare sector, including strong knowledge of healthcare property development, hospital or clinic requirements, medical equipment, project delivery, and regional market conditions. International or Middle East experience in healthcare development will be highly valuable. The preferred professional can lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities, negotiate with senior stakeholders, and maintain delivery momentum in a complex project environment.
