Job summary

Mashreq is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to accelerate and govern the adoption of AI across Mashreq Digital's engineering practice, building tooling, standards and controls that enable safe, consistent and cost-effective AI-enabled software delivery. The role is hands-on and requires depth in frontend or backend development.

You will collaborate with Principal Engineers and report to the Digital Engineering Chapter Lead to ensure alignment with engineering standards across the Retail Banking

Job Description:

The Senior Engineer (AI Engineer) is accountable for accelerating and governing the adoption of AI across Mashreq Digital's engineering practice, including building, rolling-out and maintaining the tooling, standards and controls that allow squads to deliver software with AI assistance safely, consistently and cost-effectively.

This is a hands-on engineering role. The job holder will be a practicing software engineer with depth in either frontend or backend, and applies their engineer knowledge to AI-assisted development. They work with Principal Engineers, reporting to the Digital Engineering Chapter Lead, to ensure the AI practice is aligned with the engineering standards across Retail Banking Group.
