Job summary

Sigma Engineering Works SEW in Abu Dhabi seeks a Design Engineer to drive detailed designs for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related packages under ASME Section VIII. You will perform stress analysis, prepare drawings and specifications, coordinate fabrication, and ensure compliance with BPVC while managing documentation for audits.

Proficiency in PV Elite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Project is expected, with a focus on safety, quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with mechanical or petroleum focus.
Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC and related codes.
Experience in designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers and similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, coordinate, and review pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns and skids to ASME VIII standards.
Perform stress analyses, material selection, and thickness sizing per BPVC.
Prepare drawings, specifications, ITPs, MTOs, and technical data sheets.
Coordinate with internal teams and clients, manage schedules and budgets.
Support audits, engineering calculations, and tendering during bids.
