Woods Bagot is seeking a senior design-led rail architect to help grow our transport and mobility sector across the Middle East. This is not a traditional infrastructure role. We are looking for someone who sees stations as civic destinations, understands the relationship between transport and place, and can elevate rail architecture beyond engineering-led delivery.
The successful candidate will help shape major rail, metro, high-speed rail, transit-oriented development (TOD), airport and mobility projects across the region while contributing to the wider design culture of the studio.
You are an experienced and confident design leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with both internal and external clients and work effectively as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team. You are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, remaining composed under pressure and navigating demanding client expectations while maintaining a high standard of design and delivery. Naturally inquisitive and solutions-focused, you bring strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to overcoming complex project challenges. You are fluent in both written and spoken English and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
