Job summary

The Emirates Group Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) seeks a Senior Data Scientist / Senior AI Engineer to lead end-to-end AI initiatives. You will design, implement and deploy advanced ML, optimization and AI solutions at scale, partnering with business leaders to deliver measurable impact and value.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, AI, ML, Mathematics, Statistics, OR, CS or related field.
• 4-7+ years delivering analytics, ML, optimisation or AI in large organisations.
• Expert knowledge of machine learning, statistical modelling and analytics.
• Strong experience with GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI and emerging AI tech.
• Hands-on AI Engineering: deployment, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring and scalable apps.
• Experience with optimisation frameworks such as Gurobi, FICO or CPLEX.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills; experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD and MLOps.
• Proven track record deploying production-grade analytics/AI solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication; mentoring capabilities.
• Commercial mindset focused on delivering business value through AI

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI initiatives from problem definition to deployment and value realisation.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Design and implement ML, optimisation and simulation models.
• Develop AI capabilities leveraging GenAI, LLMs and agents.
• Drive experimentation, model validation and performance measurement for business impact.
• Lead reusable DS frameworks, libraries and production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to operationalise ML/AI products.
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices.
• Champion innovation and identify emerging AI technologies for competitive advantage.
