Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data platforms powering insights across the company. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to translate concepts into practical data solutions and standards. You’ll drive automation and contribute to the data-centric culture across Revolut.

You will work on ETL design, data governance, and platform enhancements, enabling scalable analytics for executives and analysts globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS or related field.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with agile practices (TDD, refactoring, CI/CD, XP).
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL with Airflow.
• Expertise in distributed data processing and query engines (Trino, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to enhance the data platform.
• Establish data standards and maintain a company-wide data registry.
• Train and support users; communicate updates and insights via dashboards and bots.
• Plan and execute platform changes with best practices for coding, testing, deployment.
• Leverage data to guide engineering decisions and outcomes.
