Job summary

ALPHA10X is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Doha-based team, bringing client data into the ALPHA10X Ledger and extending our data model to cover new sources. You will build and run pipelines in Databricks and Azure Data Factory, ensure data quality, and collaborate with the senior solutions architecture team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong PySpark/SQL/Python skills, and hands-on Azure cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• 5+ years of significant experience in Data Engineering.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong programming in PySpark, SQL and Python.
• Experience processing terabyte-scale data in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate robust, scalable data pipelines in Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Onboard client datasets with data contracts, secure transfer and access controls.
• Extend ontology and data models to cover new sources and entities.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring and observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with client teams and ensure production-grade, testable pipelines.
