• Leads the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely milestone delivery.
• Creates and manages project budgets, optimizing resource allocation to ensure cost-effective project execution.
• Creates, reviews, and maintains documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers.
• Implements and oversees quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborates in the coordination and integration of tenant fit out projects, ensuring alignment between phases of design, construction, and commissioning.
• Conducts detailed site walks to monitor schedule, coordination, and quality through the project lifetime.
• Leads startup and commissioning phases, ensuring systems are operational and meet design specs.
• Evaluates risk profiles, identifies gaps in risk mitigation, and develops tailored solutions.
• Serves as primary contact between the company and colocation providers; negotiates and manages contracts with external vendors.
• Oversees installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
• Collaborates with design teams to ensure construction aligns with approved plans; provides input for vendor evaluation.
