Job summary

Fecundity Technologies in Dubai seeks a Data & Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions. You will leverage Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Google BigQuery to ingest, transform, and optimize data, while delivering dashboards in Power BI for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• X+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Google BigQuery, Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, SQL.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured data (CSV, JSON, Parquet).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Build and optimize data models and pipelines within Azure Synapse Analytics for efficient data warehousing and analytics.
• Work with Google BigQuery to manage, query, and optimize large-scale datasets for analytical workloads.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to support business stakeholders.
• Write efficient, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across various platforms.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across pipelines and reporting layers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis as needed by business teams.
